HER ARTISTS

An intimate observation and introduction to the various artists, commissioned by Mother Nature herself, who shape the coastal environments in and around the Kenton-on-Sea region in South Africa.

  • A curation of limited edition prints (10 each)

  • The wind sculptor

With an organic caress she reveals her identity through the sand dunes that rest along these shores. With a gentle nudge of her breath she softly blurs my image; smoothing not only the subject of this piece but also the exposure through which it is celebrated.

  • The wind architect

With a determined, structured approach she constructs her identity onto these surfaces. Witnessing a true master at work; no sign of hesitation and no room for imperfection. The stronger the force, the more precise the execution as monuments are born from her gust.

  • The blacksmith

As if forged in a fiery furnace, even the organic structures of this environment take on new form under her craft; Often to depart from their own identity, existing as something entirely new within her portfolio of marvel.

  • The wood carver

With wind as mallet and sand as chisel, she shapes and carves sculptures fit for thrones. In a gallery barely visited she displays her marvels for eyes willing to wander far past the kingdom walls.

  • The conductor

Rising cliffs are her podium and waves her ensemble. Maintaining a flawless rhythm she shapes and assembles a score like no other. Through the recurring motif true beauty lies in the subtle contrast, the gradual growth. With a grand crescendo the curtain falls as yet another masterpiece rises from its final bow.

  • The impressionist

Revealing a transient moment of colour-bathed landscape, she casts her hues in a fantastical fashion. Illuminating imagination, as mermaids splash under their golden throne.
